Apple hat es endlich geschafft seine leicht angestaubte Modellpalette an Notebooks aufzufrischen. Ein neues MacBook (13,3 Zoll) und ein neues MacBook Pro , beide ab sofort im Apple Store zu Bestellen.

Die Gerüchte über ein Aluminiumgehäuse für das kleine 13 Zoll MacBook haben sich bestätigt, sowohl das MacBook Pro (15 Zoll) als auch das MacBook kommen im Aluminiumkleid mit neuem Design, das optisch ein wenig an das der iMacs neuester Generation erinnert. Am Innenleben hat Apple natürlich auch etwas geschraubt, und so kommt das MacBook nun als Mindestens mit Intel Core 2 Duo Prozessor, 2 GB DDR3 Arbeitsspeicher, 250 GB Festplatte und
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M Grafikprozessor. Beim MacBook Pro sieht es ähnlich aus, allerdings haben die Kalifornier dem Pro Hybrid-Grafik spendiert, einmal NVIDIA GeForce 9400M ohne Grafikspeicher und einmal NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT mit eigenem Grafikspeicher. Noch ohne Update ist Apples Grösstes Notebook, das MacBook Pro 17 Zoll. Wann das kommt, oder ob Apple die 17 Zoll Reihe nicht eventuell einstellt ist noch nicht bekannt.
